    She began her nursing career working as a women’s health nurse for 2 years at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia. In short time, she transitioned to the Heart Tower to work as a cardiovascular nurse for 7 years. She taught nursing for 4 years at Middle Georgia State and University and Georgia College and State University. She has been married for 4 years to her wonderful husband Dr. John-Bernard Roberts and they are the proud parents of 3-year-old Jada. Crystal has a passion for her profession and strives for every patient to be healthy. One’s health affects every aspect of their life. Crystal strives to positively affect the health of all patients through patient relationship and knowledge. She believes the provider-patient relationship is intricate in the success and pursuit of the healthy patient.This relationship is a continuum of listening, trust and active participation from both parties. She is devoted to building a healthy community one individual at a time through commitment, compassion and caring.

    M.D.

    Dr. Titus Taube graduated with honors when he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1974 and then again when he received his Medical Doctor degree in 1979. He also has been a faculty member of the Osteopathic School of the South in Atlanta since 1985. He is Board Certified in Family Practice, the father of four and his lovely wife Cheryl works with him on his staff. He is involved in his church and community and participates in a number of professional memberships. He has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Family and Community Medicine for Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon since 1985. Dr. Taube believes that wellness and prevention care are the main priority of primary care medicine. Diseases can be prevented, complications minimized, healthcare costs reduced and quality of life improved.

    DNP, FNP-C

    Christy Abel is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board-Certified nurse practitioner. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Augusta University and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University. She began her nursing career at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Ga working on a medical-surgical floor focusing on renal and gastrointestinal patients for over a year then moved to the cardiac step-down unit for another 3 three years until leaving to concentrate on school full time. In her free time she enjoys attending local music, food, and other festivals. In addition to physical fitness, she enjoys hiking and kayaking. Practice Philosophy A patient is more than a disease, they are an individual whose health is influenced by many factors including: family, community, and the healthcare providers they see. Christy understands the importance in treating the person, not the disease. She is also a strong believer in health promotion and disease prevention by regularly seeing the patient and reinforcing health promotion behaviors. The body is like a car-regular maintenance can prevent a serious problem down the road.
